ICPS held an online panel discussion on “The Impact of Covid-19 on People with Cerebral Palsy: Testimonies from Around the World” in connection with its Annual General Meeting on 22 January 2021.
The panellists represented countries on four different continents: Argentina, France, Nigeria and Sri Lanka. Each panellist either had CP themselves or was the parent of a child with CP.
Their contributions described the particular challenges posed by the pandemic for people with CP, compared the differences in response between developed and developing countries, and highlighted solutions and long-term changes that have emerged as a result of Covid-19.
The presentations of the five panellists can be viewed here.
