Earthquake in Turkey & Syria – Appeal for Help

ICPS is in close contact with our membership organisation, Cerebral Palsy Turkey (Spastic Children’s Foundation of Turkey), following the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria on 6 February 2023.

Appeal for Help

Dear Respected Friends,

We are in deep mourning due to the earthquake in Turkey which caused immense destruction and loss of lives.

As Spastic Children’s Foundation of Turkey- Cerebral Palsy Turkey, we have started a campaign in order to provide the support materials and services needed by our children with Cerebral Palsy who live in the disaster area. Within the scope of the campaign, we aim the recruitment of support materials such as wheelchair, walker, disabled stroller, orthosis, standing bench and make sure of their arrival to those who are in need of them. We also aim to provide the therapeutic services and psychological support our children need at this time of disaster.

We heartily wait and expect the valuable support of our esteemed friends who would wish to contribute to the needs of our disabled children and children with Cerebral Palsy. You can make your contributions and help by means of the link below or through bank transfer. You may reach us with your questions at our correspondence address below.

We wish our best to all the national and international search teams, rescue staff and volunteers who work with utmost effort to save lives at this difficult task, and we send our gratitude to them in the name of our Association.

Kind regards,

Nigar Evgin, General Director
