ICPS helps CP Lanka to share the disABILITY app with the world

ICPS member organisation CP Lanka Foundation is promoting an innovative and award-winning app to help children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

The app was developed in response to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, when in-person consultations and therapy sessions were not possible. Its invaluable tele-therapy services will continue to benefit people with CP, their families and professionals long after the pandemic is over, especially in regions where it is difficult to reach in-person services.

The app, which was awarded the Inclusion Changemaker 2021 Microsoft Global Award in July 2021, was developed in Sri Lanka by Millennium IT ESP in partnership with Dilmah’s MJF Charitable Foundation and the National Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy and Other Developmental Disorders (NCCCPDD).

ICPS is supporting CP Lanka Foundation and its partners in sharing this technology with other bona fide organisations dedicated to children with CP and other disabilities around the world.
