New Organizational Members of ICPS 2021

We are honoured to welcome two prestigious French Organizations as Organizational Members of ICPS.

Fondation Paralysie Cérébrale Alain Chatelin, Chairman of the Board (https://www.fondationparalysiecerebrale.org/ )

The Fondation Paralysie Cérébrale – it is a recognized public-interest organization (Fondation reconnue d’intérêt public par le décret du 4 juillet 2006)- aims to promote and support research on Cerebral Palsy, and works to improve the quality of care, disseminate good practices, and develop knowledge, as a crossroad between people with CP, their family, researchers and donors.

Based in France, the Fondation Paralysie Cérébrale supports research project in France and in Europe and collaborates with international organizations worldwide. Its Scientific Council is composed by international members selected for their scientific achievements in the field of CP research or connected domains and provides advice on the Foundation’s strategic direction and research projects.

Since its creation in 2005, the Fondation Paralysie Cérébrale has conducted each year calls for projects, and supported almost 80 research projects.

Paralysie Cérébrale France aims to represent all people with cerebral palsy in France and participate actively in the definition and implementation of public policies related to disability at all stages of life: early childhood, schooling, vocational training, employment, housing, prevention and healthcare, medical-social services, research support, etc.

It unites 24 associations located both in metropolitan France and in overseas territories, and its network supports directly nearly 7,500 people (children and adults) daily and in total, it is a “militant force” of more than 25,000 people, family caregivers and professionals.

It is member of the Committee Governance of the CNCPH, the CNSA Council and the Executive Committee of Disabled Collective.
